VHSC Hall of Fame Induction: Congratulations to Adam Watson!
We are thrilled to announce that Vestavia Hills High School senior Adam Watson was inducted into the VHSC Hall of Fame during last Sunday night's prestigious Top Soccer Awards Ceremony. Adam's remarkable journey began six years ago when he first joined as a Sidekick, and his dedication has only grown since then. Recently, he has excelled as a Lead Coach, earning the esteemed title of the 2023 Top Soccer Coach of the Year for Alabama.
Adam's outstanding contributions to our club and the Top Soccer program have not gone unnoticed. His passion for soccer and commitment to nurturing young talents make him a truly deserving recipient of this honor.
In addition to Adam's induction, we are proud to acknowledge the esteemed company he joins in the Hall of Fame, including Director of Soccer Luke Whittle and current Club President Frank Hernandez.
We especially thank Councilwoman Kimberly Cook for gracing us with her presence at the ceremony and for presenting trophies to our special needs players. We also extend our gratitude to our club and program sponsors, Liberty Park Children's Dentistry and Dr. Ying, for their unwavering support.
As we continue to expand our program, we are always on the lookout for Sidekicks—able-bodied assistant coaches—who play a vital role in our Top Soccer program. Keep an eye out for informational emails in August to learn how your family can get involved in the Top Soccer program for the Fall season.

This long-term agreement, set to commence this fall, marks a significant milestone for VHSC as they proudly unveil the new Pepsi logo on all home and away jerseys.

Steamers 09 Black are State Champions!
Congratulations to our Boys 2009 Steamers Black on becoming State Champions!
We are thrilled for theses boys and their hard work this season!
Their first matchup of state cup was against Alabama Rush. Which started off with an excited 2-2 tie in regulation time. Goals scored by Colt Stabler and Adrian Jurado helped keep the team in the game. After two 5 minute over times, neither team had put away the final goal to end the game.
This led to a competitive penalty shootout. Saves from Mckeand Jones ensured that the Steamers stayed in the penalty shootout. After 5 pks were taken, there was still a stalemate. Leading to a sudden death pk. The 6th and final pk was scored by Griffin Williams sending thge boys to their first State Championships!
The State Finals match saw the 2009s match up with FC Birmingham. Both sides played a very competitive match with lots of goal scoring opportunities for both teams. Goals from Colt Stabler and Anthony Mata made sure to secure the championship for the Steamers with a 2-0 win!
The Club is thrilled to see how far these players have come from their early ages in the academy to now State Champions!!!!

Pre-Tryout Camp is Announced for May 2022!
2022 PRE-TRYOUT CAMP
May 9-11, 2022 • Ages 8-19
Players will have a chance to improve their technical ability in a positive, exciting, and challenging environment! We are glad you are joining us! The Pre-Tryout Camp will get the players going on the field, refining that skill work!
Who: Open to Players from ANY CLUB
Ages: 8-19 / 2014-2004 Birth Years
Where: Sicard Hollow Athletic Complex
Cost: $75
Dates: May 9, 10, 11

January Preseason Camp Announced!

Dear Soccer Families!
Vestavia Soccer is excited to announce the January Preseason Camp at the SHAC / LP. This program is open to all U8-U14 Boys and Girls soccer players from any club, and will be led by Academy Director Jason Woodall and Director of Soccer at VHSC, Luke Whittle and HVS VHSC, Staff.. Sessions will be on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM.
VHSC Winter Training Camp:
- Who: Open to Players from ANY CLUB
- Ages: 8-14
- Where: SHAC
- Cost: $70
- Added Skills: +$20 (Add a skills session from 5-5:45 PM prior to general camp for $20)
- Dates: December-January
- Times: 6-7:30 PM
