Vestavia Hills Soccer Club (VHSC) offers competitive soccer programs designed for players from U8 to U19, providing opportunities for growth, development, and success at every level.

Academy (U8–U11): Our Academy is an inclusive program focused on developing players of all abilities. Players are evaluated during tryouts to ensure a suitable fit based on their behavior, ability, mentality, and coachability. Academy teams prepare players for higher levels of competition in a positive, supportive environment.

Competitive Teams (U12–U19): Competitive teams feature fixed rosters, with spots earned through tryouts. These teams provide a focused and challenging environment for players to excel, emphasizing technical and tactical development in preparation for advanced competition.

Tryouts and Evaluations

Annual Tryouts: Teams are primarily formed during May tryouts, so this is the key time to secure your spot each year.

Ongoing Evaluations: Players may try out throughout the year. For mid-season evaluations, fill out the tryout form online and contact our directors to schedule.
