Vestavia Hills Soccer Club Announces 2025 Community Non-Profit Partner: STRIVE Birmingham

Vestavia Hills Soccer Club partners with STRIVE Birmingham as the 2025 Community Non-Profit Partner. STRIVE, a national leader in workforce development, empowers individuals 18+ with free career training and support, bridging the skills and opportunity gaps for life-changing success. Discover how VHSC and STRIVE work together to empower graduating seniors and strengthen our community.

Rami Dajani was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, where he was a High School Hall of Fame soccer player, holding single-season and career scoring records. He moved on to play collegiate soccer on a highly-ranked UAB team.

During his career at UAB, he helped propel UAB to multiple top-10 rankings and a NCAA tournament appearance.

Before moving to Vestavia Hills Soccer Club, he served the Fall 2021/22 season as a Volunteer Assistant Coach for the Men’s Soccer team at UAB. He also coached Chicago area boys' and girls' varsity programs to their most successful seasons of the last decade.

Rami has been the VHSC Recreational Director since 2022. He is also the CEO of his soccer training business, Dajani Training, where he focuses on developing skills and technical ability to help enhance players and get them to the next level. In addition, Coach Dajani works as a PE teacher at Vestavia Hills Elementary-Liberty Park (VHELP).
